AI & Autonomy Lead
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about AI, autonomy, and robotics. We are looking for individuals of different skill levels with diverse backgrounds, who are capable of functioning both in a tight-knit team and independently for extended periods of time. Autonomy is a challenging fieldRobotics is a difficult field and we are looking for engineers who are okay not knowing the answers before they start. (If you do know the answers please apply, we could really use those)
The ideal candidate will have been involved in the development of articulated robots in the past. If you don't have a lot of robotics experience, but have a good portfolio, or are willing to jump in the deep end, we still encourage you to apply. Applicants must have good communication and documentation skills, and thrive in both a team and individual environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or robotics.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying autonomous systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of robotics software (e.g., ROS) and simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Not required, but would fit really well with our workflow):
- Experience with sensor fusion, computer vision, and deep learning.
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning and its application to robotics.
- Familiarity with hardware integration and electromechanical systems.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
